Nike Air Force 1 '07 LV8

These impressive Air Force 1 ‘07 LV8 shoes feature a potent combination of colours that gives them a strong look. A khaki tone known as Rough Green starts things off along the grippy rubber outsole that underlies the design. It continues around the edges of this element, where it connects to a white midsole that appears even bolder given the dark hues of green below it and black above. Adding a surge of brightness on its lateral heel is University Gold Air text infused with a slightly orange tint. Either side of this, a thick black line has been embossed, one of which wraps all the way around the heel to lend it an intriguing aesthetic.

Elsewhere, sleek black leather makes up the various segments dividing the upper. This includes the overlays at each end of the shoe, as well as the midfoot, eyestay and toe box. Perforations in this latter panel keep things cool around the foot, while the soft mesh tongue, which is black with a Rough Green edge, adds a touch of comfort over the top. Rough Green fills out the inner lining and extends out to the dappled surface of the heel panel, which has Nike Air branding sewn into it. University Gold swooshes create exciting flares of colour down the flanks, and the Nike Air text on the tongue patch comes in the same orangey tone.

A small University Gold swoosh brings lightness to the toe end of the eyestay, before a final splash of this radiant hue pops up on the lateral heel in the form of the word “Hoops”. This emblem, which harks back to the basketball heritage of the AF1, is part of a patch sewn into the upper, with the lettering embroidered onto a white background inside a black oval outline. Lastly, a further captivating piece of graphic design highlights the insole. Sharp white teeth are visible against the black background, and a concluding set of red Nike Air text is printed inside the gaping jaw.
