Nike Air Force 1 '07

The immaculate white leather covering the upper of this Air Force 1 ‘07 makes for a classic look. These carefully stitched panels are made of tumbled leather, which has a slightly textured feel, while the white rubber of the sole unit features a similar dappled finish. Air cushioning fills the midsole, as illustrated by the Wolf Grey lettering on the lateral heel, which is embossed alongside a raised line running round the back of the heel in the same tone. Underfoot, pivot circles provide strong grip, and star-shaped tread patterns at the toe and heel bring a dynamic appearance to the outsole.

Back on the upper, the pristine white leather is dotted with perforations in the toe box, and there is a subtle pair of holes in each midfoot panel for added breathability. While white continues through much of the sneaker, from the eyestay to the heel overlay and the stretchy mesh of the tongue and inner lining, shiny elements bring flashes of colour to the design. Firstly, a gentle tone of Wolf Grey shows up through the Nike Air text on the insole and tongue patch. Then, a more striking effect is produced along the flanks, each of which contains a Picante Red swoosh. These are made of a glossy leather which gleams in the light, giving them a satisfying iridescence.

At the back of the shoe, the swooshes attach to a Metallic Silver heel panel embroidered with Nike Air branding. This lustrous piece of leather gives off a similar sheen to the swooshes, adding more glamour to the heel. The last detail is an embroidered Wolf Grey swoosh in the lateral forefoot – a classy touch that enriches the design.
