Jordan 1 Low OG x Travis Scott

Since 2019, Travis Scott has become well-known for his work with Jordan Brand, and his collection of Air Jordan 1 designs is highly sought-after. In 2024, Scott decided to celebrate an important part of his childhood by applying the royal blue and golden yellow colours of Lawrence E. Elkins High School to the famous silhouette. Scott attended Elkins High while living with his parents in Missouri City, during which time he became involved in musical theatre productions, allowing him to develop his now legendary performance skills. As well as paying tribute to the school and the hard work of his teachers, Scott also gave back to the students by donating 600 pairs of the Air Jordan 1 Low Canary to be handed out to those graduating in 2024.

Canary yellow tones give this Jordan 1 Low x Travis Scott sneaker a beautifully warm glow that is offset by the elegant white underlayer and the deep Racer Blue swooshes on its flanks. In typical Scott fashion, one of these logos has been reversed, and various red accents only add to the dynamism created by the Houston rapper’s signature effects. The sole unit then grounds the design with its classic Gum Medium Brown outsole and bouncy Air cushioning. Elsewhere, a collection of blue and red logos have been scattered across the Canary insoles, with more subtle branding woven into the heels in white thread. Lastly, the pair comes with three sets of laces that offer the wearer an element of personalisation. One is a vivid shade of red that matches the shoe’s colourful highlights, and the other two are decorated in yellow and blue tones as a final nod to Scott’s alma mater – Elkins High School.
