Nike Air Force 1 '07

Heritage style defines this dapper AF1 ‘07. Beginning underfoot, the sole unit has a crisp white finish covering both the circular tread formations along the outsole and the textured surface of the Air midsole. This latter feature has a flash of colour in the form of University Gold Air lettering embossed in between two lines of Dark Obsidian, one of which wraps around the back of the heel.

This potent pair of tones returns strongly across the upper. Dark Obsidian coats the premium leather overlays in the forefoot and rear, before continuing into the eyestay and heel panel. Meanwhile, University Gold mainly shows up on the branding effects, firstly by filling in the Nike Air text debossed into the heel. The interior of the shoe is completely white, apart from another set of Nike Air lettering which delivers radiant yellow tones to the insole. One last line of Nike Air branding decorates the white tongue in University Gold, with the words “Air Force 1” contrasting boldly underneath in Dark Obsidian.

White mesh on the tongue and perforations in the toe box ventilate the foot while also adding intriguing design details. Further stunning patterns enhance the shoe’s flanks as mini basketballs are embossed through the white midfoot panels. Interspersed amongst these are further sets of Nike lettering, which emerge subtly against the other figures surrounding them. Finally, laid over the top of these attention-grabbing sections are striking University Gold swooshes that create a concluding streak of golden yellow along each sidewall.
