Nike Air Force 1 '07

Two striking shades of pink bring a powerful radiance to this Nike Air Force 1 ‘07. It is built upon the typically sturdy foundation of a rubber outsole with concentric circle grip patterns that emanate out from a central point in the heel and another below the medial forefoot. Evenly spaced lugs create a pleasing geometry along the sides, while the toe and heel have been embossed with star-shaped nodes to complete the all-round traction provided by this feature. This and the midsole come entirely in a vivid shade of pink known as Fireberry, the latter component with Air text rising from the lateral heel to show off the bouncy cushioning held within. The rest of the midsole has a slightly textured exterior, and its upper part is defined by a band of stitching set into a groove that circumnavigates the shoe.

The upper, meanwhile, is made of crisp leather in the same brilliant Fireberry tone. It fills out the underlayer that runs through the toe box and midfoot panels, both of which have breathable perforations for extra comfort, and also coats the overlays in the forefoot and rear of the sneaker. It then extends down the wavy edged eyestay and the tongue behind it. The laces are also pink, and a shiny silver dubrae can be found securing them at the bottom, fine AF1 branding etched into its surface.

Inside, the colour scheme continues as more radiant pinks blanket the softly padded inner lining and the insole too. Even the Nike Air text printed onto the latter feature is pink, so it only appears subtly against its similarly coloured backdrop, an effect that is repeated on the woven tongue patch. On the heel, even more vibrancy enters the design via the use of a second rosy hue called Fierce Pink. Decorating the heel panel, whose surface has been imprinted with Nike Air branding, it proceeds to move into the swooshes that emerge from beneath each side of this overlay. These Fierce Pink logos then reach along the sneaker’s flanks in culmination of this eye-catching Air Force 1 design.
