Nike Air Force 1 Low x A-Cold-Wall*

This Nike Air Force 1 Low x A-Cold-Wall* sneaker comes in a fully grayscale design that brings it an effortlessly elegant look. A creamy hue starts things off on the outsole, where it covers the concentric circles that emanate across its surface along with the star-shaped grip patterns at each end and the lugs around the edges. Affixed to the top of this supportive tread is a white midsole flecked with tiny black spots and embossed with Air lettering in the heel. The former suggests the use of recycled materials, while the latter indicates the presence of bouncy Nike Air in the midsole.

More white tones can be seen on the upper, firstly on the forefoot and midfoot panels. These are connected by closed seams without the usual overlaid arrangement, making the upper entirely smooth from front to back. This also gives the toe box slightly more prominence as it is no longer set back below the mudguard, its perforations boldly displayed in a fan across it. Eco-friendly Nike Flyleather has been used to form the outer panels, thus continuing the sustainable theme. It is partly made from recycled leather fibres, while the rest consists of synthetic materials.

On the suede eyestay, the colour scheme switches to a pleasant grey tone, which then continues around the rear panel encompassing the heel. The heel tab returns to white, apart from on the bold black Nike Air text that has been embroidered into it. Back on the eyestay, there are only two eyelets on each side, both reinforced with white metal ringlets. This gives the laces a pared back look that adds to the elegance of the sneaker as they cross over each other to form an X shape on the tongue, where they pass through a simple loop. At the bottom, there is a plain white lace dubrae, for another stylish touch, and the top of the mesh tongue has been embroidered with black A-Cold-Wall* branding.

Further black text decorates the white insole, this time with the name of the brand fully written out along the inside of the shoe. The lateral sidewall is adorned with the same logo as that seen on the tongue, while the swooshes have been subtly added to both flanks as delicate lines of perforations to complete this understated collaboration.
