Jordan 1 Mid SE

High-quality leather and heritage colour-blocking give this Jordan 1 Mid SE a stylish appearance. It is set upon a translucent Ice Blue outsole whose sequence of concentric circle grip lines in the forefoot and chunky square-shaped lugs in the heel make for a shoe with excellent traction. In its centre lies a larger indentation with a piece of Nike branding embossed into it. For comfort, a white midsole has been layered on top of the outsole, its insides filled with foam padding alongside a spongy pocket of encapsulated Air in the heel.

Across the leather panels of the shoe’s upper, three charming tones converge. Starting things off is an elegant white, which covers the forefoot mudguard and overlays, the eyestay and the midfoot. This last feature tapers towards the heel, an additional line of white stitching pointing backwards in a triangular shape across its rear portion, where it stands out as it crosses over the black swoosh that decorates the sidewall.

The white of the midfoot and the black of the swoosh reach back together to wrap around the heel, the former above, the latter below. Here, the panels from each flank meet beneath a small rectangle of Ice Blue leather. Overlaying them both is a heel wrap in the same pastel blue hue whose edges have been secured with two delicate lines of thread. Emerging from underneath these layers to envelop the mid-top collar is another section of Ice Blue leather. Into its lateral side, a pair of Air Jordan Wings has been printed in black to create a striking visual effect. Meanwhile, it rests over the eyestay at the top, where its two eyelets accommodate the Ice Blue laces. These tie up over a black tongue, and as they reach the forefoot, they finish atop the toe box, which is also pale blue and has several sets of perforations for breathability.

Around the collar, beneath the heel wrap, smooth black leather can be seen, its peak lined with Ice Blue padding that continues down inside the shoe. This tone reaches all the way along the insoles and even onto the back of the tongue. On the former, a black Jumpman logo has been printed, and a second one appears on the tongue for one final aesthetic highlight. It has been sewn into the black tongue tab in Ice Blue above the word “Air”, thus completing the eye-catching look of this Air Jordan 1.
