Jordan 11 Retro Low

The stylish combination of black and red on this Jordan 11 Retro Low align it with other Jordan designs that carry the iconic Bred nickname. The latter colour shows up prominently on the outsole in a bright tone known as True Red. Its rubber surface is lined with wavy grip formations, while a translucent finish shows off the supportive carbon fibre plate inserted into the middle of the sole unit. Dark and light grey squares form a grid pattern over this sturdy component, and a black Jumpman is silhouetted in its centre. Along with this, curvaceous black pods below the forefoot and heel are filled with a herringbone tread that delivers even more traction to the wearer.

In contrast, the Phylon foam midsole is a bright white, its interior filled with pleasantly soft Air cushioning from heel to toe. Another bold variation in tone occurs once again on the upper as it sports an exaggerated mudguard made of glossy black patent leather. This gleaming material stretches all the way around the shoe, and above it a layer of durable black mesh covers the top of the foot, even appearing on the top of the tongue. Thick black laces criss-cross over this feature, looping through the webbed lacing system that decorates the flanks with bands of black fabric. White Jordan and Jumpman text has been woven through a black patch in the centre of the tongue, and a True Red Jumpman sits between the two words to bring a dash of colour to the upper.

More colourful aspects can be seen along the low-cut collar, where the True Red inner lining touches the topline. This soft, spongy material extends along the inner walls and even spills out onto the heel to create a small tab which has been used to display Jordan’s famous jersey number of 23 in white. Meanwhile, the insole switches to black and has a True Red Jumpman logo printed onto it. A smaller one of these leaping emblems can be found on the black patch sewn into the back of the tongue, and a final one vaults across the centre of the black leather heel overlay to complete this classic sneaker.
