The Nike Victory Tour goes back to 2019, when the brand worked with golfing great Rory McIlroy to produce a stylish leather shoe that would excel at the top of the sport. In 2025, the series reached new technological heights with the outstanding all-round Victory Tour 4 silhouette.

The upper of the Nike Victory Tour 4 is made of supple, full-grain leather with a lightly pebbled texture. It has a waterproof membrane to keep the foot dry, with tongue perforations bringing a little breathability. Supported by an updated frame, its form-fitting shape offers a comfortable, locked-in fit. This is bolstered by the softly padded internal foam collar and the firm containment of Nike’s seatbelt-inspired Dynamic Fit system, which features cable eyelets attached to an interior band to hold the foot securely in place.

Underfoot, the Victory Tour 4 features a low-profile sole that brings the player closer to the ground for enhanced stability and control. Full-length Cushlon foam maximises comfort, with a slightly softer density foam delivering protective shock absorption in the heel. Also new to the Nike Victory Tour 4 is a carbon-fibre Flyplate, which adds springiness and stabilising structural support. Engineered to offer vertical stiffness and horizontal flexibility, it presents the player with a solid yet comfortable base. The dual outsole has two different kinds of removable spikes, with four on the heel plate and five on the forefoot and rippling tread patterns in between, providing excellent grip and preventing slippage, especially in wet conditions.

Aesthetically, the Nike Victory Tour 4 evolves the suave, sophisticated design of its predecessors via the premium leather upper, with its intriguing asymmetric seams and dynamic inset Swooshes. Stylised Victory Tour lettering decorates the tongue alongside a miniature logo, while the heel is adorned with an elegant Nike Golf emblem and another tiny Swoosh is delicately debossed into the forefoot. The TPU outsole shimmers with a lustrous glow, and a star-shaped forefoot cutout reveals part of the Flyplate for a striking visual effect underfoot. Since its 2025 release, Nike has crafted a number of special edition colourways to celebrate tournaments like the PGA Championship, The Masters and the Open Championship, while distinctive collaborative designs have been created with Eastside Golf and Justin Timberlake, offering a wide range of stylish options.

Several pro players have worn the Victory Tour 4 during major tournaments, with Rory McIlroy its main proponent as key elements of the series are modelled on his play style. He first appeared in an elegant white colourway of the fourth iteration during his December 2024 win alongside Scottie Scheffler in ‘The Showdown at Shadow Creek’. It then became his go-to golf shoe throughout an incredible 2025, taking him to victory at the Players Championship, the Ryder Cup and, most importantly, the Masters, where he finally completed the elusive career grand slam.
